Scheduling
To maintain the highest quality care, we do not double book appointments.  We value your time and expect you to reciprocate that.  Since treatment times range from 1-2 hours each, there will be a $100 charge for missed appointments or those who have failed to give at least 48 working hours notice.

Initial appointment
If you are currently taking antibiotics or pain pills, please stop taking them for 8 hours prior to your appointment if possible.  Having these in your system can make diagnosing your tooth more difficult.  After describing to Dr. Kim the problem that you have been experiencing, a comprehensive examination and digital radiographs will be taken to determine the proper diagnosis of your case. This will be followed by a discussion of treatment alternatives and prognosis.  Once all your questions have been answered and the consent forms signed, endodontic therapy can be started. Your personal health data will be kept private in accordance with HIPAA Privacy regulations.

Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your visit:

  • If you have dental insurance, bring the necessary completed forms and/or dental insurance card.
  • Please bring the referral slip and any x-rays given to you by your dentist.
  • Patients under 18 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Medical Considerations

  • Please bring a list of medications you are presently taking.
  • If you have been advised by your physician or dentist to use antibiotic premedication due to a medical condition, please make sure that you are under the appropriate regimen one hour before all endodontic appointments. If you have any question regarding this matter please call our office prior to your appointment at 760-439-1871.
